Albertonian shows his strength

A YOUNG man from Alberton is showing off the power he possesses in competitions showcasing strength.

Adrian Smith (20) received a silver medal at the All African Powerlifting Championships last year in October, as well as taking home a silver at the SA Raw competition and a gold in the SA Equipped. The World’s bench press competition was held in Potchefstroom from May 14 to 21, where he took the bronze medal.

Other winners included Sam Hinks from Great Britain (silver) and Elfranco Holder from SA (gold).
