BISHOP Israel Makamu celebrated his birthday by giving back to the community.

Makamu, pastor and founder of Endless Hope Bible Church in Alberton, was celebrating his birthday on May 25, by giving back to the community of Mamsago, an informal settlement in the area of Alrode.

The community members received food parcels and blankets and the children received new shoes.
