MISS Earth South Africa semi-finalist, Maphala Sharon Mokubedi, is proudly representing the South of Johannesburg and recently held a school community project at Mulbarton Primary School.

The master’s student, from the University of Johannesburg, visited the school on June 22 to carry out a presentation about the importance of recycling and engaged in tree planting on the field. The learners, educators and principal were very welcoming to the semi-finalist and Mokubedi would like to thank Gina Shoemaker from Green Earth Concepts for providing the trees for the planting and Mulbarton Primary School for being such welcoming hosts.
