Engen Knockout Challenge

Engen Knockout Challenge to start on July 29.

THE Engen Knockout Challenge will take place from Friday, July 29 at Wits juniors Marks Park fields.

The draw for the Gauteng leg, which is the last province to have its play-offs, took place on July 12.

The Gauteng leg of the u.17 tournament is usually the most difficult of all the provinces to play, as Premier Soccer League development teams such as Kaizer Chiefs, Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns are the teams to beat in order to advance to the finals.

Mamelodi Sundowns will be defending their title this year. There are four groups in which the 16 teams will participate. The national finals will be played in the latter part of the year.
