Celebrating left-handed learners

School honours left-hand writers.

JUNIOR Colleges Castillian was transformed into a left-handed zone on Friday, August 13. “We engaged in this initiative to celebrate all our left-handed children, parents and staff members. It was a day of fun and great laughter,” said principal Elizabeth Steenkamp.

Parents were encouraged to complete as many tasks at work using only their left hand and send in a video or photos of their attempts.

Various left-handed activities were set up for the children to enjoy during the mornings festivities. All the children and staff dressed up as superheros to show just how special they are.
