Diwali festival draws the crowds

Did you get your chance to browse through the numerous stalls selling a variety of goods ranging from fashion items to Indian art and brassware?

THERE was much to do and see at this year’s Gauteng Diwali Festival. Pauline Naidoo, president of the Hindu Maha Sabha (Gauteng Region), was among the thousands of visitors who visited this year’s Gauteng Diwali Festival at Gold Reef City on Saturday, October 15. Visitors took the opportunity to browse through the numerous stalls selling a variety of goods, ranging from fashion items to Indian art and brassware. Apart from the shopping opportunities visitors such as Naidoo were also treated to a spectacular fireworks display as well as thrilling live entertainment performances.
