Purchase Food Lover’s Market Simple juices or infused water, freeze it overnight and pack it in for lunch – as the ice melts, it will ensure that you have a cold, refreshing drink during the course of the day.
Fill wraps with smoked chicken, lettuce, celery and carrots. Season with salt and pepper and a salad dressing. Slice in half for manageable portions while on the playground or behind a desk.
Pack a small packet of dried fruit as a quick energy booster. This is a healthier alternative to packing in sweets.
Consider investing in a smaller container which can be used for storing almonds, pumpkin seeds and biltong pieces as a handy snack, which you can throw into your lunchbox and eat on the run.
Alternate cubed fruits on a skewer and pair with a small tub of plain yogurt. This is advised for older children or adults only.
