I have read a story in the Alberton Record about property owners receiving notice of a general valuation roll and about the properties listed in the notice being incorrect.
I live in Albertsdal and received my notice and the property in this notice is also incorrect. The property listed is in Mpilisweni.
According to the story, you are awaiting a response from the council. I have tried calling the listed numbers in the notice with no success – the phone just rings.

The RECORD has contacted the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality for comment on this letter, but has received none.
