Chill to the bone horror with a truthful message (Entertainment)
This horror will have you screaming
The Conjuring is a movie that has you sitting on the edge of your seat, gripping the person next to you. Set in the 1970’s, while still keeping that classic horror style with clear interpretation, you’d be watching with your hands digging into your legs shortly after.
The realism of the film easily allows for the viewer to understand the flow of the set atmosphere. Based on a true life story, the most appreciably pointed out statement at the end was what really caught the eye (though not giving away too much detail on the movie itself), “The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very destiny hinges on which we decide to follow.” -Ed Warren.
The statement is a clear indication of the battle between everything we go through as humans and as we ultimately decide on what path to follow/choose, is clearly up to us.
Though the statement made is clear and has the truth in the message, the film is from a real life perspective and happened that way according to their experiences.
