RA celebrate 20th birthday with Highveld Awards

Racing Association will be celebrating it’s 20th birthday.

THE Racing Association will be celebrating it’s 20th birthday this year. The Association has grown from strength to strength and has underlined the importance of its’ existence in the sport of horseracing over the years.

The RA has announced the nominations for the Highveld Awards which will take place on May 30 at Emperors Palace.

The nominees are:

Champion 2 year old filly:

Daring Diva, Green Plains.

Champion 2 year old colt/gelding:

Barrack Street, Mustaaqeem (Australia)

Champion 3 year old filly:

Orchid Island, Smiling Blue Eyes,Wind Chill.

Champion 3 year old colt/gelding:

Al Sahem, Heavenly Blue (Australia), Janoobi.

Champion Older Horse:

Deo Juvente, Legal Eagle, Master Sabina, Nother Russia, Rafeef (Australia)

Champion Sprinter:

Rafeef (Australia), Trip To Heaven.

Champion Middle Distance Horse:

Deo Juvente, Legal Eagle, Master Sabina, Nother Russia.

Champion Stayer:

Al Sahem,Fortissima, Hermoso Mundo, Wind Chill.

The human awards will also be announced for the various categories.
