WHAT does it take to get onto your Gold Rand Harley-Davidson and drive through two burning tunnels or to crash a car through a pyramid of burning car wrecks?
It takes two exceptional veteran stuntmen to perform those acts and still smile when they reach the other side.
For many years, daredevils Enrico Schoeman, from Boksburg, and André de Kock, who hails from Alberton, have been performing these stunts.
Schoeman (61) and colleague De Kock (65) rode again, risking their lives on July 1 at Carnival City’s Adrenaline show, in the parking lot.

Schoeman was set alight, after which he rode through two fire tunnels on his Harley-Davidson, crashing through a burning billboard at the end.
Seconds later, De Kock emerged from the tunnel in a burning car and crashed it into a pyramid of flaming car wrecks.
The two veterans are South Africa’s longest-serving daredevils and hold the Guinness World Record for the longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire – a distance of 120m.
They will be taking on the Guinness World Record for riding a quadbike through a fire tunnel next year at Wonderboom Airport Adrenaline show on July 2.
