SA Olympic Health World thanks EMM for cleanup

"We know that most people don’t have good things to say about the EMM, but they deserve recognition for this."

Referring to the article on page 9 from the June 21 issue of the RECORD titled “Get rid of ruins and criminals”, we as SA Olympic Health World would like to thank the municipality for bulldozing all the ruins in Derby Road, New Market.

We know that most people don’t have good things to say about the EMM but they deserve recognition for this. They did a great service to us and quicker than we expected, too.

We would also like to thank the RECORD for stepping in with this issue and getting it done so soon – we’ve been struggling with this issue for almost two years on our own trying to get Councillors to help us but it never got us anywhere.

Everything looks so much nicer in Derby Road now and I’m sure this will put people and their children at ease when they pass by not having to worry about being robbed or assaulted or worse.

Many thanks again – we truly appreciate everyone’s help!
