Voortrekker Road cleanup noticed and appreciated

Reader is impressed.

I drove through the Boulevard and down Voortrekker Road this past Sunday and it was striking how neat it was – all cleaned up on Saturday.

I want to thank those who work hard tidying up the main street. It leaves a good and refreshing impression. I do wish the stalls across Standard Bank can be kept tidy as well.

Also, it is good to see that the big trees that severely damaged the pavements in the Boulevard are being removed and the paving is being repaired. I hope the project will be completed throughout the Boulevard. It is a pity that not all trees chosen to be planted in the Boulevard were of the type that doesn’t lift up the paving.
