Owner is in desperate need

Owner needs help with pets.

I’M in desperate need of help. I’m from East London and in March I relocated to Alberton, but had to move back to East London due to family problems. My family that I stayed with turned a bit nasty towards me.

They made promises that were not kept. My two dogs are still stuck in Alberton. I could not bring them safely down with me. My sister that I stayed with said she will look after them till either she or I could make a plan to get them back to me safely.

But I received messages from her that I have to fetch them otherwise she will take them to the SPCA. I am currently unemployed but doing odd jobs. I cannot afford to collect them. I love my dogs dearly.

I just want them back safely where they belong. Is there any way that you could help me? Or do you know of someone that could help me?

I don’t want anything to happen to them. If someone is willing to help, send an email to conniejordaan2@gmail.com

The RECORD received the following from Alberton SPCA:

“This lady contacted us on FB and I explained we couldn’t help as much as we’d like to. It would need someone travelling down from here to East London who would take the dogs. Unfortunately, we can’t get involved as there is no cruelty involved (as far as we’re aware). It’s a minefield of possibilities and I feel awful saying we can’t help. I suggested she asked on some Alberton FB pages to see if anyone would transport her dogs to her but who is to say the family that’s caring for them now will release them? It’s just a sad and messy situation,” said Vanja Ingold from Alberton SPCA.
