You will be missed Godfrey

His big smile will be missed.

It is with a sad heart that we would like to inform the community of Alberton on the passing of Godfrey.

He became well known in the area as a local face at the traffic lights. Not many people took the time to get to know him and his reasoning behind being on our streets.

We had the honour of meeting this friendly and heartwarming soul through Angels for Addicts. Godfrey was close to our hearts and especially since he wasn’t able to get proper care and the much-needed operation he required. Despite being in pain 24 hours a day, he would always greet you with a huge smile.

Godfrey, you will be missed. May your soul rest in peace.
