Another beautiful week in Joburg and hasn’t the weather been stunning! My favourite kind of days, hot and dry. Not that I’m not partial to a thunder shower in the early evening, just not pouring rain in the day when I’m out and about.
Who says stripes aren’t hot?
A winner this summer season – stripes. Whether dresses, tops, Tshirts or shorts, stripes are hot for both women and men! Team up with denims, white shorts or for a more formal look, black trousers. A blue and white striped top with those beautiful flowing sleeves will take you through from morning to evening. Accesorise with silver earrings and a necklace and you are ready to go.
Hello summer
Thyme Café Restaurant, situated in Tulip Garden Centre, Rifle Range Road, Haddon, will be having a waterpark over the festive season where children can enjoy fun in the sun. Don’t forget to bring their costumes and towels. There will be childminders, children’s entertainment and games so while you relax and enjoy something delicious from the new menu, a cooling cocktail or coffee and cake, your children will be kept happy and entertained.
Six weeks … and counting!
Last week I gave you a few tips on preparing for Christmas. This week let’s take a look at children’s toys. I popped into ToysRus at Mall of the South and they have some fantastic deals for boys and girls. Every type of baby doll and accessories, one doll which has seven interactive functions, have you ever! Steffi Love has a mom-to-be doll and Barbie is still big. From Trolls to Shimmer and Shine, Top Model to Reggie’s Home, as well as lots more, you’ll be sure to find lots for your little sweetheart.
For the boys, Lego sets (Lego City and Lego Creator), Justice League, Transformers, Hot Wheels, Reggie’s Radio Controlled cars, even drones as well as Just Like Home workshops. Bigger items such as bikes, scooters and Ride-On cars, now that’s a real deal.
Babies and toddlers won’t miss out either with great educational toys at super prices.
