Lira celebrates her First Decade at Carnival City
Lira is no stranger to performing live at Carnival City and will do so on November 29 and 30.
BRAKPAN – Lira will be celebrating her first decade in the industry with a spectacular show at Carnival City on Friday and Saturday November 29 and 30 at 20:00.
With five studio albums, two live DVDs and two live CDs and multi-platinum sales, Lira is one of the biggest names in the business and has much to celebrate since making her debut 10 years ago. She has become one of South Africa’s iconic songwriters and performers and has many SAMA Awards and Nominations to her credit.
Lira is no stranger to performing live at Carnival City, the DVD of her 2009 concert went on to achieve triple platinum sales and won the award for “Best Global Chart DVD” at the 2010 SAMAs.
Of her First Decade celebration, Lira says, “It will be a three-tier experience for the fans. As an artist, I communicate what I value the most – love, celebration and inspiration. It is through these three things that fans can engage with me, through my recorded music, my live performances and my soon to be released biography.”
