IT has come to my attention that most of the traffic lights are down in the mornings and evenings when the traffic is at its peak, especially on Swartkoppies Road.
This road is also known as the busiest road in Alberton with high volumes of Alberton making their way to Alberton CBD.
This causes conjunctions on Vermooten Street coming toward Swartkoppies Road and causes havoc.
Traffic lights will be in a working state during the course of midday but will be down for maintenance in early mornings and afternoons.
