The second day of the Bowls South Africa Mixed Pairs Tournament at Alberton Bowling Club has concluded and matters are definitely heating up in the pursuit of the top spot in both sections.
In the blue section, the Kingfisher bowls team is still in the lead, but their lead has shrunk slightly being only two points ahead of the teams in second and third place.

In the red section, Sedibeng has pulled clearly ahead of the pack with a perfect score following some great play on day two. Western Province bowls had a great day and have managed to reach second place, their accumulated goal difference placing them ahead of Boland in third place. The pair from Johannesburg has moved up one place in the rankings placing them seventh in the red section.
