Gymnasts do well at regional qualifiers

A record amount of medals was won by the club at the regional qualifiers.

GYMNASTS from the Alberton Twisters Tumbling Club excelled at the regional qualifiers, qualifying to take part at the regionals in Benoni on September 8.

TUMBLERS: Twisters’ tumblers going to regionals: Front: Miandi Griezel. Middle: Danika Keatley, Inge Keatley, Anna-Bella Fraser, Abigail Griezel and Abbie Britz. Back: Matthew Hofstede, Neil Longstaff, Jenny Parkin (coach), Janelle Strydom, Macyla Fritz (coach) and Chané Strydom.
Far back: Chandré Smook (coach).

The Twisters team won 28 gold, 34 silver and 20 bronze medals overall.

Congratulations to all the qualifiers and medal winners.
