What changes need to be made in Alberton?

Albertonians share their opinion on what needs to be changed in Alberton.

THE RECORD asked residents what they thought should change in Alberton and why?

This is what they had to say:

MOUMI MAZIBUKO: “Our taxis are old, we need a different system of transport all-together. Pick up points need to change location. When I walk to where they are now, I feel unsafe.”
SIBONAKELE NYONI: “There is not enough open space in town, it is a congested area. It would be nice if there was a park for children to play or a place with no buildings to keep children busy and safe.”
SIM MOLE: “The city is dirty. When you walk you notice the municipality hasn’t done much to make the streets clean. The parking areas are full of trash and the drains are blocked.”
JOSEPH GALLUCI: “With regards to business, there needs to be better communication in this area. Business should be more interconnected and should be advertised better.”
