I would like to thank the Netcare Union Hospital in Alberton for the excellent service we received from them.
At the end of June 2018 my wife and I had an unfortunate house accident. My wife broke her hip and I broke my femur bone and damaged an old hip replacement. We were both admitted to the Union Emergency ward and after X-rays we were played in a general ward.
My wife was operated on July 1 and I on July 3.
We were both placed in the High Care Unit and shortly afterwards transferred to a general ward. We received physiotherapy and counselling. On July 31 we were transferred to the Netcare Rehabilitation Centre in Auckland Park for more physio and counselling.
We were discharged on August 7 and at present recovering at home.
I would like to say thank you to the staff from the hospital for being professional and working late hours to help us get comfortable. Words can only express so much. All in all, thank you.
