Funds raised will go towards equipment and resources in order for the reservists to assist members of the public. No card facilities at this point and cash payments only, please. A car wash will cost you only R80 and donations towards the reservists’ cause is most welcome should you not need your car to be washed.

The first event will be Rupert Broole, Poetic Icon of World War I by Marjorie Dean with the main lecture The End(s) of the First World War in Africa by Anne Samson. The society holds meetings with lectures on the second Thursday of each month, at which a wide variety of topics of military historical interest are discussed.
