[GALLERY + VIDEO]: Journey with Amcare officially kicks off

Amcare launched their new brand and website on October 23.

AMCARE officially launched their new brand and website on October 23. Guests were invited to share the evening with Amcare where they embarked on their new journey towards further growth in support of those who need it most in Alberton and the surrounding areas.

Amcare’s new brand encompasses all they stand for, with the colours used in the brand representing the groups Amcare cares for. The colours used are green, orange, red and white, which represent their relief efforts for children, victims of domestic violence, people suffering with and affected by HIV/Aids and the elderly.

Of great pride to Amcare is the launch of their new website www.amcare.org.za, which creates a platform for better interaction with the public. The new website is categorised to the individual aims of Amcare, be it victim empowerment, elderly care, Aids relief or skills development. This allows the public to engage with the information they would most like to and support the specific programmes closest to their hearts.

CHARITY HOURS: Catering learners from Alberton High School, Montanna Bridger, Kira Champman, Christopher Morgan, Cassidy Oosthuizen and Jessica Love-Coetzer, provided the catering for the launch.

A new feature that greatly eases engagement with Amcare is the “Shop” and “Donation” options available on the website. The shop allows patrons to easily order and pay for products from Amcare. These products, at the moment, include meals that can be ordered from Amcare’s catering department. The donation option allows people to directly support the programmes they care about most, donating per category online with a few clicks.

IN SUPPORT: Mrs Africa finalist Laurette Marais and Nadine Mason, marketing manager at Amcare.

Join the Journey with Amcare as they move towards reaching the most vulnerable of the community. For more information, to donate or join as a volunteer visit www.amcare.org.za or give them a call on 011 869 5856.

NEW BEGINNINGS: Marihet Infantino, general manager at Amcare, spoke about the excitement that comes with new beginnings. Here she is with Dan and Tshidi Serumola.
EXCITED: The staff of Amcare are excited to join in the journey represented by the new brand.
