Jennifer Garner returns to Nu Metro The Glen with a vengeance this weekend. Peppermint, the new film from the makers of Taken, is a high-octane revenge thriller guaranteed to satisfy even the toughest of action-fans out there. It will also be showing in the Extra Large Screen, Big Sound Xtreme cinema at The Glen.

Halloween is around the corner and in the spirit of all things spooky – Nu Metro The Glen has both The Little Vampire (in 3D) as well as Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween lined up. Or, be immersed in the suspense and mystery of the high-tech thriller Searching in The Glen’s luxurious VIP cinema.

Hoping to start his own family, Slappy kidnaps Sonny’s mother and brings all of his ghoulish friends back to life, just in time for Halloween. As the sleepy town becomes overrun with monsters, witches and other mysterious creatures, Sonny joins forces with his sister, Sam and a kindly neighbour to save Sonny’s mom and foil Slappy’s plan.

The Little Vampire (7-9PG HV): Adventure with a bite. The story of Rudolph, a 13-year-old vampire, whose clan is threatened by a notorious vampire hunter.

Rudolph has problems. Not only is he 13 years old and a vampire, but his whole family is threatened with extinction by the cruel vampire hunter, Rookery. Fortunately, Rudolph encounters 12-year-old Tony, a human. Rudolph brings Tony along on his adventure, which takes the two boys to Transylvania, and brings their two families together, helping them all overcome their prejudices.
