Time to ban fireworks

Fireworks serve no purpose - it only makes a noise.

How is it possible that fireworks are still legal in this day and age?

Fireworks serves no purpose at all but noise and it causes thousands of innocent animals to get injured and go missing every year.

This year, where I reside in the South of Johannesburg, Diwali was celebrated from Monday to Friday and some fireworks were fired on Saturday as well.

Year after year I sign petitions to put a stop to fireworks but it is almost New Year’s again, and again, thousands of animals will be injured, die or get lost because of fear!

It is time to ban fireworks once and for all.
