Over the Moon MTB and Trail Run Night Series final at Rietvlei
Registration is from 5pm until 6.30pm.
THE Final of the Group 1 Nissan The Glen Over the Moon MTB and Trail Run Night Series will take place at Rietvlei Zoo farm on December 8.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CANSA East Rand, who will also have a stand in the Nissan Village where you can go to support them.
“We have enjoyed being part of this successful series and are looking forward to an incredible night for the final. Community and families are important to us and that is why we support family events such as this,” enthused George Stegmann, dealer principal of Group 1 Nissan The Glen. “We are also hoping to raise some much-needed funds for CANSA East Rand who are doing amazing work in our community.”

Entrance to the Nissan Village is free. There will be a free 2km kiddies fun walk/ride at 5pm with prizes sponsored by Dormehl Phalane.
The talented Jacques Terre’Blanche (Idols runner-up) will perform live at the event at 6.15pm, and again later in the evening.
Fire eating dancers will amaze and delight throughout the evening. Bring the whole family along and visit the Kids Zone at The Nissan Village which will be open from 5pm to 10pm. Fun activities, food and drink stalls will be available.
Event organiser Leigh Barnsley from Two The Core Events said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed hosting this series and we are sure that the final on the December 8 will be the event of the year. ”
Group 1 Nissan The Glen will also do the live draw for the Nissan Experience Golden Ticket Lucky Draw. “The Nissan Experience Prize with SA Adventure will be a three-night 4 x 4 Sani Pass Adventure for two in a Nissan Navara, including accommodation, breakfast and dinner,” said Tandi Potgieter, marketing consultant of Group 1 Nissan The Glen. “ It is an experience of a lifetime, taking you through the beautiful country of Lesotho, to the highest Pub in Africa, then to the Midlands Meander. The prize is valued at R12 000.”
Registration is from 5pm until 6.30pm. Entry fees start from R100. Participants who book online will receive a medal, a free boerewors roll and a beverage to enjoy after their thrilling run or ride. The participants will also receive a glow in the dark bracelet and goodie bag.
