THERE is one thing I want to know which is how some of the truck drivers got their licences? So I was driving to Vereeniging from Alberton on January 4. I drove on Andries Potgieter Street towards Swartkoppies as that is where I will get on to the R59. The traffic light was green for me to go when a big truck turned in front of me over a red traffic light. I did honk a horn at him and all but it did not bother him. The thing that hit me was that I was driving right and he was not. He got away with it. I mean driving a truck is a big responsibility as it is a big vehicle. I know it’s not only truck drivers who break road rules, but all drivers. I just feel that a truck driver should drive extra careful as accidents can happen quickly. Lucky for me I saw the truck turning and I could brake in time, but that is not always the case.
