Mikhael Pillay named national chess champion

Bracken High learner wins South African Junior Chess Championship.

MIKHAEL Pillay from Bracken High School showed his mental mettle by becoming the South African Junior Chess Champion.

Mikhael took part at the South Africa Junior Chess Championship held over the holidays.

He took part in the u-14 section and after the conclusion of the tournament was named u-14 champion. Bracken High is extremely proud of Mikhael’s achievements.
