4 IN association with the Cantare Children’s Choir, Dulcet Voices Choir invites children to develop their voices and musicality. Dulcet Voices Choir specifically focuses on children from Grade R to Grade Four, or ages six to 10. Lessons will take place at the Dutch Reformed Church Alberton South, corner of Phantom and Candican streets, Raceview, on Mondays from 5pm to 6pm. 6 AUDITIONS are now open for aspiring Cantare Children’s Choir members between the ages of nine and 16 years. 13 THE February meeting for the Probus Club will be held at the Reading Country Club from 11am. Probus is a club for retirees and semi-retirees to join together to stimulate thoughts, share interests and participate in activities at a time of life when horizons are narrowing and opportunities to make new friends are limited. The guest speaker will be Freda Garvie, who will be talking about beekeeping. 21 THE i4118 Foundation for at-risk children and teens will be hosting a fund-raiser golf day at Reading Country Club on February 21. Registration and team photos will take place from 10.30am, and the tee-off from 11.20am. There will also be a dinner and awards ceremony from 5pm to thank sponsors. Funds raised on this day will aid i4118 Foundation, with its character building programmes. Sponsorships are most welcome.
