Kickboxing count down

Supreme Fight League starts on March 30.

FOR the first time in the Supreme Fight League’s (SFL) history, eight incredible and highly-skilled kickboxers will battle it out in an action-packed elimination tournament.

The SFL tournament will take place at the Rivonia Barnyard Theatre on March 30.

The top kickboxers will be competing for the light-middleweight title. The winner of each fight will go through to the next round, while the loser will be eliminated. All eight of these fighters are determined and focused to become the first SFL tournament champion.

A total of 13 fights will be on the cards. The eight fighters are Heinrich Schutte, Lameck Kadzonga, Musa Sethwape, Litha Madikiza, Vincent van der Merwe, Mathew-Lee Marais, Keagan Rowe and Fanie Botes.

In between the tournament fights, to ensure recovery time for the athletes, there will be exciting pro-amateur fights. Both Patrick Luindula and Damian Schultz, one of the matches, have impressive amateur records and are making their debut as professional K1 fighters. K1 fighters such as Rami Mungul and Henny Mathekgane compete against each other. Former world champion Paul Rothmann will fight against Karl Bergemann. The much-anticipated fight between renowned fighters Danie van Heerden and Tumelo Maphutha will also take place.

Ticket sales are open. Doors open at 5pm and the event kicks off at 6pm. Get your tickets from https://www.barnyardtheatre.co.za/
