Bruised, bloodied, but happy for Boulevard revamp

I would like to know how many people actually really got hurt falling in the Alberton Boulevard like I did.

I can still remember the day I came down like a ton of bricks when my foot got hooked on the uneven paving in the Alberton Boulevard.

This was about three years ago. I got up covered in bruises and cuts and with an even more bruised ego, slipped into the bank where I was going to do my business.

To read about the upgrade of the boulevard finally taking place on the RECORD’s website is met with a sigh of relief.

This is not only long overdue but much needed.

Out of interest, I would like to know how many people actually really got hurt coming down in the Alberton Boulevard like I did.

If the RECORD could avail us the time to invite those who have been injured to let the community know through the RECORD’s letters pages, I will greatly appreciate it.

Bruised ego
