WITH colder weather conditions settling in, the RECORD asked residents to share their ways of staying warm during the winter months.
BRANDON PRETORIUS: “This winter I always have the fireplace lit. I wrap myself with at least two blankets to keep warm.”
VUYISWA NDLANGISA: “As a norm, I always make sure each year during this time that my paraffin heater keeps me and my family warm.”
HAYLEY PLANE: “To keep warm this winter, it’s best for families to make themselves soup and gather together to build strong bonds.”
MAYA FANTY: “I make sure that I’m dressed warmly to avoid catching a cold. I always have my heater turned on to keep the house warm.”
