THE SAJKA Gauteng Championship was held at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena earlier this year.
Altogether 30 students from JKA South Bassonia were selected to represent Karate Syndicate at the championship and they all brought home medals, an impressive total of 53.
They were all awarded SAJKA Gauteng colours and selected to represent Gauteng at the SAJKA National Championship.
The students all train under the watchful eye of senior instructors Bruce Smith (7th Dan), Gert Aucamp (6th Dan) and Karyn Smith (5th Dan). Classes for all ages are held Mondays to Thursdays.
