Alberton karatekas bring home medals
Altogether 19 students from the club took part and returned home with a total of 27 medals.
STUDENTS from the Cobras Shotokan Karate Club in Alberton recently took part in the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan All Styles Gauteng North Tournament on August 31.
Altogether 19 students from the club took part and returned home with a total of 27 medals. The senseis are very proud of these outstanding achievements.
Cobras Shotokan Karate Club members who brought back medals are El-dré Williams (two silver), Alexander Aucamp (one gold), Alexia Andrade (two gold), Sarah Peel (two bronze), Joshua Sheriff (one bronze), Tshwanelo Maila (one gold, one silver), Augusto Kentsop (one gold, one bronze), Evan Sheriff (two silver), Joshua Bayloyi (one silver, one bronze), Darshal Chinia (one gold), Juan Crous (one gold, one bronze), Jaiveer Chinia (one gold, one bronze), Hayley Peel (one bronze), Bokamoso Makhene (one gold, one silver), sensei Laurent Gaston-Bellegarde (one gold), sensei Nicholas Gaston-Bellegarde (one gold, one bronze), Ryan Hovell-Erasmus (one gold, one bronze), Kendra Smith (one bronze) and Musa Sono (one silver).
