The Seester Gemeente, in partnership with other congregations, hosted their annual community market on October 4 and 5.

The market catered for foodies, fun-enthusiasts and those who simply wanted to share a good time with family and friends. Those visiting were treated to mouth-watering treats like ice creams, veggies, fat cakes and prepared meals. Toys, clothing and plants were also sold on the day.

Rev Petrus Dreyer said: “The event is not only hosted as a fund-raising event, but we want to serve the community. We invite locals to sell their products to get some energy into this part of Alberton.”
