About a year ago I contacted Pikitup to inform them about the dumping sites along Swartkoppies Road and Kliprivier Drive and was told a supervisor would go to inspect the site.
The supervisor called me when she was there and was horrified at the sheer scale of the illegal dumping and said it would be a huge project to clear and she would talk to her boss about it.
I also sent an email to a DA councillor for help, but received no response.
It would be great if we can get Pikitup and the community together to clear all of these sites and I am willing to get involved.
