South Africa won the Rugby World Cup, 32 -12 against England on November 2 in Japan.

THE Springboks’ victory parade, which started in Pretoria on November 7, proceeded to Johannesburg CBD and passed through Booysens where lots of people were patiently waiting for them.

Sirens, hooters, clapping and ululation were at order of the day in the late afternoon in Booysens Road where the open bus carrying the Springboks as Rugby World Cup 2019 champions, passed.

Everyone was ecstatic as they left Booysens into Mentz Road where it was heading to Soweto for the final leg of the victory parade.
