Alberton Figures selects 70 finalists for model of the year
The models were chosen in different categories by four independent judges at the semi-finals.
The Alberton Branch of Figures Finesse held their annual semi-finals competition at the Roodepoort Youth Theatre.
Nine contestants from each age category were chosen as finalists by four independent judges.
The finals will take place on the first weekend of December and contestants from all 19 Figures branches will compete.
In total, 70 Alberton finalists will be competing.
An awards ceremony was also held on the day to recognise individuals for the their contributions to Figures throughout 2019.
The top three debutantes in each age category were announced at the ceremony and each received a special sash and tiara.
