GALLERY: Living Word Church hosts first-ever Christmas market

Living Word Church brought the Alberton community together during their Christmas Market on November 30 in New Market.

Living Word Church brought the Alberton community together during their Christmas Market on November 30 in New Market.

The market, which was attended by many, had various stalls and the children were treated to loads of activities. The market had a jam-packed programme which included performances and Christmas tree lighting.

It was a great time for family and friends, as children had an opportunity to have joy rides and ice skate in the sun. This was the congregation’s first-ever Christmas market and was declared a success by organisers.

Organiser Nicky Bessa said the event aimed at giving children a good time and bringing the community together.

“Our main goal is to give children a good time and our main attraction was lighting our tree and Christmas carols. “We are planning on having a Christmas market every year now,” she said.
