In aid of Doxa Deo’s care programmes, the Meyersdal church hosted its annual Pouveer market from November 27 to November 30 in Meyersdal.

Crafters were given an opportunity to sell their hand-made products, and stalls offered a great deal of choice from beauty products, household accessories, Christmas gifts and mouth-watering meals, among many other things.

Through the market, the congregation raised funds for its care projects within the community.

The projects include Help Our People Eat (HOPE) project and Transforming the Educational Environment (TREE) which make a Christ-centred difference in schools.

They also raised funds to sustain their child and youth centre, My Huis.
