Local netball team wins Dubai’s 7 international tournament
"Blue" Centurion Warrior team winners at the Dubai 7’s international tournament.
THE South African youth netball team, “Blue” Centurion Warrior, returned to South Africa on December 9 as the ultimate champions from the Dubai 7’s International Tournament.
The tournament was held in Dubai on December 7 and 8 and the Centurion Warrior team emerged as winners of the tournament.
The team from Centurion defeated the Dubai College 9 -7 in a nail-biting final at the 7’s tournament.
The Centurion Warrior Sport Academy entered three netball teams, namely Blue, Red and White teams.
All three teams finished in the top eight, out of the twenty competing teams. The three teams played 28 games and won 24.
