Medals galore for JKA South
Dojo members did their instructors proud by bringing home 70 individual medals.
With over 180 competitors in 65 divisions, the 13th Karate Syndicate Mario Marques Memorial Championships were a resounding success for the members of JKA South Bassonia Karate club.
Dojo members did their instructors proud by bringing home 70 individual medals, including gold for Open Mens Kumite (Graeme Bennett), gold for Open Ladies Kata (Brittany Shepstone) and silver for Ladies Open Kumite.
Classes are held Monday to Thursday with special classes for Dinky Warrior for children aged four to seven.
