A pregnancy awareness function was held at the Netcare Clinton Hospital on February 18.
The function was held to prepare fathers and the men in pregnant women’s lives on their role as a father and support structure for the family. Guest speakers on the evening were Kruger Rautenbach, Frikkie van den Berg, Marilee Kriel and Carin Eloff. The topics discussed were the role of the man in the family, financial planning, parenting techniques and what the dad can do to support the mother during her and the baby’s time in hospital.
