Only eight teams remain in the 2020 Nedbank Cup and the die were cast on February 25 at the draw.
Some of the teams will feel that they received the kinder of the draw, while others will have demanding matches.
But as seen so many times in the past, there are no kind draws.
Seeing that the Nedbank Cup is played on a knock-out level, all teams play to win.
Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic were drawn against GladAfrica championship teams Real Kings and TS Sporting. Both teams will have to take on their opponents in their own backyard.
“This is another match and we will be handling the team in front of us, as we do with the other teams we play,” said Gift Motupa from Bidvest Wits.
“We expect a super onslaught from them. There are no easy draws, as each team plays to win and go through to the next round.
“We have seen some footage of them and they are a good team. They would not be here if they didn’t play well, so it is going to be a huge game for us.
“We will prepare to the best of our ability. They also have the advantage of playing in front of their home crowd, so it is going to be a difficult game.”
Meanwhile, Philani Cele from Real Kings said, “It will be a good challenge for us to play such a team as Wits, but we have come this far and will uplift our game.
“We are playing at home and have all the support from our fans. It will be an amazing game to play against Wits.”
Mamelodi Sundowns will come up against Highlands Park, who dispensed of favourites Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend. The two teams will meet at Highlands Park home grounds.
Baroka FC will face Black Leopards at home.
