Police should serve and protect

The community has no faith in the SAPS and is the last to be called in an emergency

Crime, specially housebreaking and theft, has escalated dramatically in Brackendowns. It is out of control and the police does nothing about it. The community has no faith in the SAPS and is the last to be called in an emergency.

The security companies are the first in line for assistance; the reason being that the police either doesn’t answer phones or your call is simply just dropped.

Now residents are left to either take the law into their own hands to protect themselves and their properties against these criminals or call a security company for assistance. We feel that the SAPS is beyond useless; we don’t trust them and can’t rely on them at all and we are sick and tired of the way we are being treated.

They are there to serve and protect us, being paid with our taxes.
