Sewage is of great concern in Alberton
The EMM responds to sewage-related issues:
On the problems in Alberton North:
Complaint 1135049 was captured as 8th Avenue in Bakerton and not Alberton on Thursday last week.
This was escalated to the Brakpan depot. Once they became aware of the problem, it was attended to and Ekurhuleni representatives opened the blockage on Monday evening.
In Andries Street, Brackendowns:
Unfortunately they could not identify any specific problem without a specific address. A recent response was given last week on a complaint at 70 Andries Street.

Ekurhuleni's response to those who keep saying they are afraid to reveal their identity and provide details: “There is no reason for anybody to fear, we are here to deliver services to our consumers.”
