I have been watching Carte Blanche for many years and always regarded their program as gospel when it comes to the truth. Well you can imagine my surprise when I read about how Carte Blanche got it wrong on the story about Neil Diamond.
My mother always said, if you tell one lie people won’t know what else you are lying about! Like the lie of Hennie Els – what Els is he lying about (pardon the pun)? I am shocked that no one checked the facts before the broadcast. Don’t they have lawyers and editors and who research and check on facts?
Seems like Carte Blanche and Els have met their match in Neil Diamond. Few people have the resources and energy of the Diamonds to take on a large media group like Carte Blanche. Well done, Mr Neil Diamond, you are one of very few that have received a public apology from Carte Blanche. It seems like you have come out on top once again, I applaud you for going strong and not giving up!
Many people don’t like you, because they are jealous, but for others you are a fine example. Let people think what they want, at the end of the day we applauded your victory and stand strongly with you as we admire how you do things.
