Loitering is illegal

I would like to thank the Concerned Citizen who wrote concerning beggars; at least now I know I am not alone fighting this cause.

ALBERTON – Loitering is illegal and I quote the following bylaw:

Loitering on public roads: 1) No person may: A) lie, sit, stand, congregate, loiter or walk, or otherwise act, on any public road in any manner that may obstruct traffic.

Me and my wife have been abused and called stingy and the looks we are given by a certain beggar is disgusting. We pay our taxes and rates and now we have to endure this on a daily basis.

There must be somebody out there with authority to bring this to an end, because I have exhausted asking the right people for help.
