Free music festival marks Reconciliation Day

December 16 will be a treat for Ekurhuleni music lovers as Puisano Live Music showcases some exciting unsigned bands at OR Tambo Cultural Precinct in Wattville. The concert will be celebrated in honour of the Day of Reconciliation.

The artists that will be featured are currently touring different venues in Gauteng. Some the bands include CL and Friends, Native 2120, Mkizwana Quintent, the Kevin Maduna Quintent, Black Mok and a number of local bands.

The festival is a partnership between the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation and the city of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality. It is part of a program aimed at promoting live music shows within communities.

Entrance is free. Cooler boxes will be allowed but bottles and weapons are prohibited from the venue.
